    At Webster Foundry we work with a number of widely used malleable iron classes, and offer a complete range of secondary operations and quality control capabilities.  We cast in sizes from 2 ounces to 50 pounds in these metals:

    Essential for some castings is the selection of precision metalworking services from our extensive in-house machining facilities.  Skilled machinists and modern CNC equipment assure you of top quality finish work on your castings.

    An additional resource for customers is the variety of metal fabrication capabilities of Webster Industries.  Considering the potential efficiency of single-source production, these "extra" facilities and skills allied with our foundry are something to bear in mind for your more complex parts or products.

MONITORING THE QUALITY

    Part of being a dependable source for casting is our ability to maintain consistent quality.  At Webster Foundry, we offer a series of quality control steps basic to our industry.  These steps are chosen to suit the type of casting involved and may include any or all of the following.

    Backing up these basics are a number of comprehensive quality control programs designed to assure the consistent high quality of all Webster Products.  Key operations utilize Statistical Process Control.  A fully equipped in-plant laboratory is used to maintain metallurgical control of the casting process.

A FAMILY OF COMPANIES

    Webster Industries, INC., which includes Webster Foundry and five other divisions, is centrally located in the Great Lakes Industrial region.  It occupies a l42-acre site in Tiffin, Ohio.  Webster Foundry is a 60-thousand square foot facility included in the Webster manufacturing complex.  Webster Industries also operates manufacturing and distributing facilities in Portland, Oregon and Meridian, Mississippi.
